This Privacy Policy explains how JawHacks LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you become a member of The Joint or use any JawHacks services.


1. Information We Collect When you use The Joint, we collect the following types of personal information:

  • Name and email address (collected at checkout and onboarding)
  • Payment details (processed securely by third-party payment providers — we don’t store card data)
  • Form responses (submitted for onboarding and follow-ups)
  • Transcripts and audio recordings (from AI tools used for transcribing sessions)
  • Asynchronous messages and coaching notes (text, audio, video, screenshare)
  • Device and usage data (e.g., cookies or basic analytics, if enabled by third-party tools)
  • Community engagement data

2. How We Use Your Data We use the information you provide for the following purposes:

  • To deliver and personalize coaching services
  • To provide access to asynchronous support and community features
  • To track coaching progress and session history
  • To store and reference AI summaries for follow-up and accountability
  • To process billing and subscription renewals

  • To publish selected coaching calls and messages in full or in part to YouTube, Substack, or other platforms — only with your explicit consent, either in writing or on-camera before the session

3. Educational Content & Excerpts From time to time, we may use excerpts from coaching calls, form responses, or other communications to create:

  • YouTube videos
  • Substack articles
  • Blog posts
  • Case study summaries

We never include your name, identifying details, or personal photos in any public content without your explicit written consent. You may opt out of this usage by submitting a request to support@jawhacks.com.

Where and How Your Data Is Stored Your data is stored securely using industry-standard platforms for data management, transcription, form collection, payment processing, automation, and email communication. These platforms are widely used and trusted in coaching and online education. While not HIPAA-compliant, they are appropriate for the non-clinical nature of the services provided. By using our services, you consent to this data usage.


5. How Long We Keep Your Data We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including coaching continuity, service improvement, and educational content creation. In alignment with international data protection standards (such as the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), you have the right to request that we delete your personal data at any time. We will honor such requests unless we have a legal or legitimate reason to retain it. In some cases, we may retain anonymized data for internal analysis or educational purposes.
