Two Lessons in Nasal Breathing by a Swimmer Who Learned the Hard Way

The swimmer teaches us that:

1) our ideas about breathing matter - when we are taught to mouth breath, we become mouth breathers.

2) fluid quality matters - allergens and irritants in pool water (or air) can unknowingly congest our nose for many, many years.
